Yoursay- My favorite singer

MY FAVORITE SINGER
Music can be very important for many people. Be relaxed, in a good feeling, happy, or energetic are feelings that music can give to you. In general I like all kinds of music , but it depends on my mood. 
I don't have a favorite singer because there're many singers that I like, and because I usually listen popular music, so my musical culture is very low. 

One of my favorite singers are Adele and Sia. What I like most is that they are persons with  very clear and strong beliefs.  Adel won an oscar for her song, skyfall, and four grammys for her album 25. And Sia has several nominations at the Grammy Awards and Golden Globes.
Also I really enjoy catalan rock, like Els Catarres or Txarango. 
Although the music that I listen most is piano because it helps me to concentrate with my homework.

BLACK MIRROR

Black mirror is a british series. Is set in the future and speaks about the consequences that we will suffer in the future if we continue on this way.
The series has three seasons and one special. The special it's about a man who has committed a crime and scientists enter in his mind for know what he did. 

The progress of the technology, and its dependency, cause that we can being controlled, as we can see in the chapter, the protagonist doesn't even know that it's a dream. 

I love this series, its vision of the future is very cynical which shows that we have to take care of what we do, because it might have consequences like those shown in the series.

This new speaks about that the new samsung, the samsung galaxy note 7, explodes. In US they've been completely banned from all flights, this applies to all flights to, from and within America. 

And if you try to bring the phone in the plane, you have to decide between give the telephone or not flight. 

Although They know that this can bring inconveniences for some passenger, like Anthony Foxx says, the safety is the first priority. 

The price of breaking this regulation is the penalty and fines. 

I agree with this regulation because the most important thing is the safety. I understand that this can suppose issues for some people, especially for that type of persons that depend on the mobile.

Angela Lee Duckworth is a psychologist that studies how the grit is the thing that makes us better. In the video that we saw the other day in class, she said that "grit is passion and perseverance for very long-term goals, grit is having stamina, grit is sticking your future day in day out..." Plus, Lee said she saw that what makes somebody greatest is grit, and not the IQ or healthy mind.

I really do not have any idea of what makes us greatest, but I don't agree with her. First because grit is not what she said, grit is the power to show you without shame. Of course I think that grit is important for oneself,but is not the principle of our mind, and it's just like talent. At one point of the video, she said that talent and grit are antonyms, but in my point of view, both of them are building our personality.

In relation to what she said about the failures (failure is not a permanent condition), I think that with every failure we learn something, but it's permanent, because although we will be better with failures, we always remembered our failures, those failures that made us. Also, I believe that you can't try the same thing because if at first you don't succeed you never will be successful with these. 

MY GOALS

MY GOALS
My dear teacher, I'm Maria Baguer Colomer and I'm writing these for speak about my goals. When I was little one of my goals was become a chef, but now I don't have any goal. Well, like everybody of my class, I think that it would be amazing pass batxillerat with great notes. And also have a beautiful house and a good job some day, but these goals are like everyone's goals. 
One thing that I really would like to have, but I've never said, is a NGO to save dolphins and whales, but as I know that this is really difficult because first I should have a lot of money, and it's a little bit impossible be rich, it's not a goal from my point of view, because I believe that a goal is something possible. 

"How I expect overcome them?". As Homer Simpson says, If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. So, if i believe that something doesn't deserve too much work I just won't do it.

No one helps me to stay on track, I mind, of course my family  helps me, but not in the same way I would like to do it, so if I don't share the same thoughts,  it's not useful. 

FINAL REFLECTION

Final reflection


I think that now my english grammar, vocabulary, and the blogg is better that the last year. My blogger posts in 4t Eso was  awful, because I wasn't taking it seriously, but now I understand that english it's very important for our future.

In 4t ESO I didn't do any exercice of grammar or vocabulary, We spent all the days watching series. I have to recognise that I loved watch these series, we improved our pronuciation and understanding, but These was useless because we didn't put in practice. This year, our teacher has been hard and for these reason my english improve.
Plus, this year we has been playing Kahoot, and in my opinion it's the best activity to shows our level of english, and  the same time we have fun.
In my form of view everything is useful to learn english.
I would like to do again class songs, oficial exam preparations for improve our level, blog news, gramar book exercicies, Reading 3 book, that in my opinión it's an excellen form to do the readings better, and finally oral exams, beacuse althought this put my very nervous, it's one of the best forms to lost the embarrassment.

Another thing that I would like to do is videos, or theaters plays, because it's very funny and it's a good form to lose our embarrassment.

REVIEW

BOOK'S REVIEW

This trimester I decided to read the book called Jeeves and Friends. 
this book is divided in six short stories. The first story speaks about that Mr.Wooster has to do anything with the book of his uncle, because this can't never arrive to the printing or Florence won't marry him. Jeeves, his new valet, helps Mr.Wooster and finally they get stole the book. But Jeeves decide to send the book because he thinks that Florence is not a good wife for Mr.Wooster.

The second chapter: Auntie Agatha send Mr. Wooster to New York to try to stop the wending between his cousin Corky and a singer. But he meet the couple and he decid to help them, because Corky's uncle don't want that his nephew will married with a poor artist. As he wrote two books about birds, Jeeves propose that the lady can write a book from the uncle's books, and this way he would be glad of his nephew. But he falls in love with the singer and they marry and have a child.
The uncle sys to Corky, that he have to make a portrait of the baby, but it looks very ugly and his uncle forced him to work for him because he's an horrible artist.

Chapter 3: Mr. Wooster want that his sister and her sons come to life with he, but Jeeves doesn't  want it, so Jeeves propose to spend dome days to Brighton and think about it. While they're going by car they find a girl and they decide to bring her to school because she's late.
Jeeves suggest that Mr.Wooster could say he is a friend of her father and that he takes a lift with her. Miss Tomlinson accept the excuse, and she propose to mr. Wooster do a speech in front all the girls. Finally he decide to doesn't have children because they're exhausting.

Chapter 4: McAlister is taking care os the girl who starts going out with the lord Emsworth's son. Lord Emsworth is the sir of McAllister. Lord Emsworth says to McAllister that if he doesn't make her go, he will make him go, so McAllister decide to go.
But Lord Emswort goes to search him after a few days because he's the best gardener and he has to take care of the pumpkin for win the first prize. Finally, he gets the first prize and his son gets marry with the girl, Aggie, and he goes to Ney York to work for her father. 

Chapter 5: Lord Emsworth is angry because he won't have the gravel path, and he goes for a walk. He sees a girl with beautiful flowers and she says that she picked they up from a graden, and she had to throw stones to a boy, who was the gardener, to escape. Lord Emsworth invites the girl to a party in his house, and he give her food for her and her brother, who has bitten the sister of lord Emswoth and for this reason he couldn't come into the house. 

Chapter 6: Freddie, Lord Emsworth's son, backs from NY for work, and his wife decide to go to France. Freddie is taking care of the Aggie's dog, but he give the dog to Valerie because he hate the dog. After this, he receive a telegram from his wife that say that she will return home soon. Freddie scares about it and fall hurting his ankles, so he can't stole his dog from Valerie, and he asks help to his father. Lord Emsworth is captured by a butler, and Lord Emsworth's valet has to help he to scape, but they don't get stole the dog. Finally Freddie discover that his wife also hated the dog. 

I like the book, it's funny, but there was many words that I didn't understand. I didn't understand very well the chapter five, but I think that more or less this chapter speaks about what I explain.
